Super Eagles goal keeper and team captain, Vincent Enyeama has
reacted strongly to the face off he had with the national team coach,
Sunday Oliseh yesterday in Belgium.
It was widely reported that Coach Oliseh had told security men to
bundle Enyeama out of the Belgium camp for getting there a day late. We
learnt the goal keeper tried to explain to Oliseh that he came late
because he just finished the burial rites of his late mother, but Oliseh
would not listen to his explanation.
It was said that the intervention of officials of the Nigeria
Football Federation (NFF) made Oliseh change his mind and safed Enyeama
of public disgrace.
Enyeama however took to his instagram page this morning where he said
he would not tolerate any insult to his dead mother after thirteen
years of service in the national team.
Here is the post… “After
13years of national service, having this smiles on my face and this
passion in my heart.through the billows, the waves of the ocean, the tears
of defeat, the sound of rejoicing from victory chants.now the thought of
being stripped naked and security agents throwing me out breaks me
completely.I will take anything but not insult to my dead mother.”
