The ambition of Central Bank Deputy Governor, Adebayo Adelabu to govern Oyo state is troubled.
According to emerging details, Adelabu was a guest at the Ikoyi Lagos office of anti corruption agency – Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Monday.
He was reportedly brought in for questioning on allegations of corruption.
The probe against him is said to be two folds, deeds traced back to his former place of employment – and alleged involvement in the unraveling Diezani Madueke’s mess.
Details sourced from online platform the capital revealed that he was interrogated for “hours” and later granted administrative bail.
The correct shape of the investigation against him is unclear as at press time.
But since news of the development hit town, his political opponents have been making all manners of feast of it.
The twist is said to be colouring his ambition to become the next governor of Oyo state in unflattering shades.
