Davido’s Escorts Put Behind Bars For Reckless Shooting

The two policemen, who are seen in a video that recently emerged, escorting star singer Davido, and shooting sporadically into the air are currently in detention.

The duo are attached to the 20 Police Mobile Force Squadron, and were posted to a private security company, Infinity Security Company.

However, the musician entered into an agreement with them at Murtala Muhammed Airport on his return from abroad on July 31, to escort him home.

In the video, that went viral, the trigger-happy cops are seen shooting into the air on the street in a moving vehicle.

According to the Head of Public Complaints Rapid Response Unit ( PCRRU), ACP Abayomi Shogunle, the police authorities have identified the erring policemen adding that they are currently in detention.

Shogunle said, “The officers have been identified and are in detention since then. Investigation was conducted and after that they have been tried in orderly room and punishment has been recommended.”
