Benny Peters Goes Underground As Aiteo Rebrands Corporate Image

Person of interest to the authority, Benedicts Peters has refused to surface. The key man at Aiteo Group has gone underground since he was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in March.
The EFCC in a statement disclosed Peters is wanted “in a case of criminal conspiracy, diversion of funds and money laundering”.
He is also accused of involvements in mega deals that landed former minister Diezani Allison Madueke in trouble home and aborad – including the alleged $115m given to electoral officers.
Benny peters as fondly called had opted to go underground rather than face questioning from investigators.
But as he continues to evade authorities, handlers of his Aiteo Group – workers have been trimmed dow – are fighting hard to keep the brand alive.
They have embarked on a rash of corprate social responsibility initiatives – loundly sustained “exisiting” ones.
One of such is the well publicised sports development effort known as Aiteo Cup.
The moves are aimed at keeping the brand Aiteo in public consciousness for the right reasons – away from the ordeal of frontman Benny Peters.
Aiteo group which describes self as  “is an integrated, global-focused Nigerian energy conglomerate” was founded in February 2008.
