The Lagos State Police Command have arrested three persons in connection with the gruesome murder of Hector Oluwaseun Jobarteh, winner of the 2006 Gulder Ultimate Search, GUS, reality TV, Season 3.
His killers had trailed him from Murtala Muhammed Airport where he had gone to pick his younger brother, Victor, forcing themselves into his flat at 8, Olufowora Close and shooting him in cold blood.
Late Hector won the grand prize of N5 million and a Ford Explorer at the SUV.2006 Season 3 GUS , held in Benin. His widow, who is based in United States is also a former GUS contestant.
Police source said the killers of the 38-year-old father of one shot him in the chest and fled the scene without taking anything from the house suggesting it was assassination.
